Things people get picked up and delivered

If it fits in a car and you could carry it to the door, a runner can probably get it.

The thing you forgot for brekkie tomorrow

No milk, no bread, and the kids are finally asleep. Someone grabs it from the IGA or the servo before they close.

That last-minute kinder project from Officeworks

Send your file to Officeworks print and copy, then book a pickup. It's at your door the same day, without packing everyone into the car.

Your local cafe, without Uber

Order and pay the cafe directly, then book a runner to bring it over. The cafe keeps every dollar, with no app taking a cut.

Click and collect

Kmart, Bunnings, Target, the chemist's shelf (not prescriptions). Give the runner your name and order number.

The parcel at the post office

The card says you weren't home. You were, you just couldn't get to the door. Sign the card to say they can collect it, and the runner brings it along with their own ID.

The thing left at Nan's

The favourite toy, the charger, the lunchbox. Goods only, handed over at the door.

How same day pick up and delivery works

Runners only get jobs where their whole trip, there and back home, is short. So it's always someone nearby.

  1. Tell the bot what and where

What it is, where to pick it up, and your address. You see the price before you book.

  2. A runner nearby takes it

It goes to runners you've used before first, then to everyone close by.

  3. Track your delivery

You're told when they start, with an arrival time. A photo when it's picked up, another at your door, and you can message them any time.

  4. Pay them directly

Straight to their PayID once it's at your door. Your bank shows their name, so you know it's them.

Up to 5 km$12

Up to 12 km$18

The price is the trip, nothing on top

Measured from the pickup to your door. It all goes to your runner. Gofors doesn't take a cut and never touches the money, so a short trip usually costs less than a courier or a delivery app.

Earn a bit, close to home

Do runs for parents near you when it suits you. Sign up in Telegram in about two minutes.

Short trips only

You're only offered jobs where the whole loop from your place is 15 km or less, and it tells you how far before you take it.

Your choice, always

Take the jobs you want. No shifts, no minimum hours. Pause any time.

Paid straight to you

Customers pay your PayID directly when it's at their door. Gofors takes nothing.

Goods only, at the door

Prints, parcels, click and collect. You never go inside, and never carry people, pets or cash.

Sign up to run

Kept simple, kept safe

Every runner is checked

Every runner's phone number is verified, and they're paid only to a PayID on that same number, so the bank account is theirs and already ID-checked by their bank. Problems and low ratings pause a runner straight away.

Your address stays private

Runners only see where you are once one of them has taken your job.

Something not right?

Tap Something's wrong in the bot. The runner is paused straight away and it gets followed up. Goods up to $100 only.

Questions about our Melbourne pick up and delivery service

How do I book a courier pick up?

Open the Gofors bot in Telegram and tap New pickup. Tell it what it is, how big, where from and where to. You'll see the price before you book.

Is it same day delivery?

Usually within the hour, depending on who's free. Runners you've used before hear about it first, then anyone close by. If nobody can take it within an hour, you're told.

Which suburbs do you cover?

We're starting in Cheltenham, Mentone and nearby bayside suburbs. A job goes to runners who live close to it, so anywhere with a runner nearby works.

Can you do Officeworks delivery?

Yes, it's one of the most common jobs. Order your prints or stationery for pickup, then book a runner to collect it under your name.

Is it a courier service?

It works like a local courier for small things, but runners are people from your area doing it when it suits them, paid straight by you. It's for short trips, not freight or interstate parcels.

What can't be picked up?

People, pets, cash, alcohol, tobacco, prescription medicines and weapons. Goods worth up to $100.

Tip Gofors, help local kids and animals

Gofors takes no cut from you or your runner. After a job you can tip, from 10c up. Once hosting is paid, every cent goes to Pets of the Homeless in Cheltenham and to Our Village, for babies and kids who need a hand. See every tip and donation.
